About US

The mission of the Urie Waite Foundation is to provide education, medical screening, and other resources to the geriatric population and their caregivers on a local and international platform. 

The Urie Waite Foundation focuses on specific Geriatric issues; Alzheimer’s Disease, Depression, Anxiety, Diabetes, and challenges faced by those caring for this group. The foundation also focuses on the needs of minority and marginalized groups who are dealing with the compounded negative impact of these issues resulting from intersectionality – the combination of two or more marginalizing attributes such as – race and aging, gender and aging, sexual orientation, and aging.
